2021
Looking back on 2021 I think we can all agree it has been a year of change and with that the wedding industry seen a swift increase as restrictions were lifted, it seemed that finally the cloud we had been living under had started to clear and was giving way to hope being realised.
Part of my job that I particularly love is getting to know my couples and having that personal relationship, the byproduct of this is I too get to go on their wedding journey with them. For the last two years it had seemed more like a rollercoaster ride, as I have seen my couples facing adversity yet choosing to remain optimistic and adaptable as dates were changed time and time again.
Being chosen to photograph someones special day always brings a sense of privilege with it, however there is something jubilant in watching a much anticipated day finally turn from a seemingly distant dream into reality.
It seems 2021 had some catching up to do, and lucky for me, my couples were up to the task.
From the bringing together of loved ones in a back garden wedding, the busy streets of London hosting an intimate gathering of close friends and family, to the enveloping glow of the Tuscan fields laying celebration to a patient couple with a dream to travel.
This year I have been fortunate to have celebrated amongst some of the best and have also had the pleasure of working alongside wonderful suppliers, planners, florists and other photographers. Who together have complied, collaborated and co -ordinated to make sure these special days could happen
I have picked a few of may favourite moments from this year to share with you.
Here’s to 2022…
