Joel + Brittany • Eilean Donan Castle

This is by far the rainiest wedding I have been a part of and I loved every minute of it! I know Scotland’s weather is mental but this was one of those days, where it literally changed every second. The Sky was filled with blue sky’s, dark clouds and rainbows!

Joel and Brittany came over from Canada to have their small intimate wedding at Eilean Donan Castle in the North of Scotland and were joined by their parents. They started the day with a first look in the hills overlooking Loch Duich and then headed down to the Castle to exchange their vows and rings with their parents as their witnesses. After the ceremony we headed out for a few last photos on the bridge and the rain chucked it down! At this point all the legal stuff was done and Brittany and Joel couldn’t care less about the rain. It was such an fun and memorable day and ended with a double rainbow!. The shot above was later named one of the winners for Junebug Top 50 Destination photos of 2018!
